Hosted analytics and privacy

Web-Stat is a hosted analytics service provided by Web Tracking Services, LLC. The plugin connects your WordPress site to Web-Stat; analytics data is processed on Web-Stat’s servers, not stored solely in your WordPress database. A Web-Stat account is required and is set up when you install the plugin.

The tracking code sends visit information to Web-Stat, including page URLs, referrers, IP addresses and browser/device details. Location is estimated from IP addresses. Optional features can collect information about signed-in users when enabled.
