Compatible third-party integrations

SecureHold WP 3.4.11 or later can use a fixed security deposit configured on a rental item as a separate Stripe authorization hold. The compatible fixed deposit is not added to the WooCommerce payable total; percentage-based and otherwise unsupported deposits continue through the normal WpRently checkout flow.

Requirements: WooCommerce checkout mode, the official WooCommerce Stripe Gateway, SecureHold’s own Stripe API keys in the same test/live mode, a linked WooCommerce rental product, a fixed WpRently security deposit, and the MagePeople compatibility option enabled in SecureHold. Until all of these are in place, and always in the Standalone checkout, WpRently keeps charging the deposit as part of the booking total. Set SecureHold’s Default Hold Amount to 0 (Rent Item > Settings > Integrations offers this in one click) so it does not add its own hold to rentals whose percentage deposit WpRently already charges. Make sure Stripe’s authorization duration is suitable for the rental period. See the SecureHold documentation or SecureHold support for setup help.
